Yay, it’s getting spring! The birds are back tweeting the nights away and people are getting in shape for the summer. And because nothing tastes better than thin we also sent our April template to a slimming cure: Tweety steps into the shoes of our popular MEE template. We created it in MEE’s slim style, but of course Tweety comes with all the sophistication of our 2009 templates. With Tweety you get more than 10 beautifully designed background images, a smoothly animated tabbed menu and 16 (!) module variations. A true novelty is the origami-style module that looks like it’s wrapped around the website.

Also, this template is optimized for all Twitter enthusiasts! In combination with our brandnew YOOtweet module it’s the neatest way to show everyone what you’re up to directly on your website.

We also updated our famous YOOsearch module. It now comes with a blank styling which shows your search results in a plain and simple way that nicely integrates in websites that have no rounded corners.

Put it on your wall! Our february template Pinboard is made of 5 different materials and you also get to choose from a wide range of nice wallpapers. More than 210 combinations are possible.

Pinboard comes with a largest collection of modules… we updated the designs of our popular post-it and polaroid styles and created completely new designs like cardboard, a note on checkered paper, oldschool printing paper and a tile. We also added 6 magnets and a pin. Together there are more than 80 different module combinations possible.

Most importantly we made use of our new overrides to create different stylings for blog layouts and other components. In this template the blogposts of the blog layouts (frontpage, section, category) appear on individual sheets of paper.

We proudly present our new template: Way Beyond! Our first template to come with overrides for the Joomla core. What does that mean?

It means that we got rid of Joomla’s tables. The whole content area is free of tables now, and we developed very neat CSS for our overrides, too. We did that to give you full control over the look of your website. Now you can easily style every part of your Joomla website with CSS. We rewrote all of Joomla’s core components and threw out a bunch of unnecessary code, so now your site will load faster as well.

Also we optimized our module framework. From now on you every styling you can apply via the module class suffix will work on any module position, no matter what kind of background that position has.

Our typography got polished, too. There are a couple of new elements like the drop caps you can put at the beginning of paragraphs and left and right insets to align your content more easily.

This menu is a Suckerfish menu system and is disabled by default but if you prefer to enable it you can set the menu to “2″ in the “Template Configuration”. In Joomla 1.5 will have the option in the template parameters.

The S5 No-MooMenu Drop Down Menuis completely powered by S5 Effects so your modules and components won’t cause any conflictions using this menu system. Just mouse over the top menu in the demo and you will notice the suckerfish menu smoothly expand in.
