Menu Styles:
Suckerfish Menu:
This menu is a Suckerfish menu system and is disabled by default but if you prefer to enable it you can set the menu to “2″ in the “Template Configuration”. In Joomla 1.5 will have the option in the template parameters.
Image Menu:
This is the horizontal image menu which is enabled by default
Bottom Menu:
This is the horizontal menu located at the very bottom of the page in the demo , create a “Flat List” menu module, and set the module class suffix to “-bottom”
Template Configurations:
You can easily configure this template with the below options. Once you have installed this template login to the administration of your Joomla site. In the admin navigate to your Joomla templates from the top menu: Site > Template Manager > Site Templates. Select “kitephotography” and then click “Edit HTML”. You will then see something similar to the following (Note: In Joomla 1.5 these options will be available the template parameters:

By default this menu is a Suckerfish menu system but if you prefer the default Joomla menu you can set the menu to Suckerfish in the “Template Configuration” located in the index.php file. Set the menu style to “module” $s5_menu_style = “module” Create a “Flat List” menu module publish it to the top position, and set the module class suffix to “-top”
User7 Style Menu:
This is the horizontal menu located at the bottom of the page in the demo , create a “Flat List” menu module, and set the module class suffix to “-bottom”
Template Configurations:
You can easily configure this template with the below options. Once you have installed this template login to the administration of your Joomla site. In the admin navigate to your Joomla templates from the top menu: Site > Template Manager > Site Templates. Select eWorld and then click “Edit HTML”. You will then see something similar to the following:

You have the option to turn off the png fixer. This fix was included to enable transparent images in Internet Explorer 6. By default it is off, but you can use it.

2. Create a new a new menu position called menu. If you don’t know how to do this please refer to the FAQ - Putting a module in a custom module position
3. NOTE: You must put all your menus in ‘menu’ module position.
4. Also please turn off the title for all Menu modules for best effect.
5. The horizontal tab navigation is automatically positioned, and it will put whatever elements you have in your “topmenu” there. Please note that this does not work well if you have a lot of menu items. If you limit the top-level to 5 you should be ok.

Template Club members now have access to a brand new bonus template for May. This template has been developed due to numerous requests for a Variable-Width version of April’s DigitalEther template. This template uses the same variable-max system as is used in the mamboserver.com template. The navigation system uses the exclusive menu based on the very cool “TransMenu” sliding menu system.
This template has a variable-width layout that scales down to 800×600 and has a maximum size that retains readability on 1600×1200 and above resolutions.

Installation
Installation for this template is simple procedure:
1. First install the template via the administrator as you normally do.
2. This template uses the module positions pretty much as they come out of the box. So it should be a simple procedure to get this template up and running very quickly.
3. The mainmenu will automatically be picked up and put into the correct place for this template. Please limit the number of top level menu items to 5 and then put everything else in submenus. This is demonstrated in the Demo.
4. Top module position has a fixed height (like SolarFlare) so you will have to modify your newflash items so they are not too large and get cut off.
5. Left module position should not be used on pages where you have a width-hungry component as it does not leave much room for content. In the demo I only use Left modules on the Homepage.
6. User1 module position can be used for anything, but I advice using the Random Image module in this position to rotate a banner. Again looks best if only on the Homepage.
7. User2 and User3 module positions are new for Aphelion and were not included in the original DigitalEther template. These probably should only be used no the Homepage.
8. User4 module position should be used for a second flat menu. I advice moving the default Topmen module from User3 to this User4 position.
9. I’ve created a “New” module and just entered a little FreeText and set the module position to “Footer”. This should allow you to easily modify your footer without messing with the template files.
10. TIPS I strongly suggest turning off Create Date, Author, Modified Date, & Back Button for this template as it gives a cleaner, more professional look.

Split-Menu information
The split-menu system uses the mainmenu menu configured in the admin administator. For this to function correctly understand that the ‘top level’ menu items will show up as the horizontal buttons across the top of the template. For sub menu items, assign Parent Item to these top menus to the top-level item. These will then show up on the left a the top of the left column when you click on the top-level. For an example of this check out the demo server
Instructions
1. Install as normal using the Site Templates Installer
2. Configure the main menu as described above. I suggest a maximum of 7 top level elements depending on their length for optimal presentation. NOTE: The colors will repeat if you have more than 5.
3. Follow the Module Position guide below to see the available module positions and place your modules accordingly.
4. For user4, Please use a menu in “user4” position with the type set to “flat”
5. For the search box, set the search module with “inset” module position
6. I suggest having at least 2 or 3 modules in the “right” position at all time to provide suitable balance.
